About this organisation

Summary of activities

1 The church waters and shepherds believers in complete accordance with the Bible and The Word Appears in the Flesh, so that every believer can, under the guidance, provision, watering, and shepherding of the words of Almighty God, understand all of the truths in God s words, possess the right outlook on life and values, have the right goals to pursue, follow the way of God, hold on to God s commissions, glorify God by being the light of the world and salt of the earth, be praised by God, and be qualified to inherit God s promises. 2 The church is committed to building up a church that is after God s heart, so that the believers can help and serve each other in God s words and God s love, can obey and worship Almighty God, Christ of the last days, and can become a true testimony to God and a manifestation of God s glory. 3 The church aims to spread and testify to the gospel of the kingdom of Almighty God, allowing people to see that Almighty God is the returned Lord Jesus of the last days, and that He has embarked upon the work of judgment that must begin at the house of God prophesied in the Bible, which is precisely God s work of completely purifying and saving man in the last days. Only by accepting all of the truths expressed by Almighty God can man rid himself of his satanic disposition, break free from the bondage of sin, be purified, come to know God, obey God, and worship God, live out a meaningful life, and survive the great disasters of the last days and enter into God s kingdom only this is the beautiful destination of mankind. By spreading and testifying to Almighty God s work of the last days, the church aims to bring before God all those who acknowledge God s existence and love the truth so that they might accept and gain God s salvation of the last days.

What is this?

This graph shows how much revenue (money in) and expenses (money out) the charity has had each year over the last few years. Charities have many sources of revenue, such as donations, government grants, and services they sell to the public. Similarly, expenses are everything that allows the charity to run, from paying staff to rent.

What should I be looking for?

First off, this graph gives a general indication of how big the charity is - charities range in size from tiny (budgets of less than $100,000) to enormous (budgets more than $100 million). You're also looking for variability - if the charity's revenue and expenses are jumping up and down from year to year, make sure there's a good reason for it.

Unlike companies, charities and not-for-profits aren't on a mission to make money. However, if they spend more than they receive, eventually they will go into too much debt and run into trouble. As a very general rule, you want revenue to be slightly above expenses. If expenses is reliably above revenue, the charity is losing money. If revenue is much larger than expenses, it means the charity might not be using its resources effectively. It isn't always that simple, however, and there's a lot of reasons a charity might not follow this pattern. They might be saving up for a big purchase or campaign, or they might have made a big one-off payment. If you're worried, always look at the annual and financial reports to understand why the charity is making the decisions it is.
